North Ogden Basement Remodel – From Water Damage to a Stylish New Space
Basement Redesign & Bathroom Remodel Ogden Utah started when Northview Homes & Renovations was hired to repair a persistent foundation leak and revamp an improvised DIY basement finish. Our comprehensive scope included a full bathroom gut-and-redo along with a top-to-bottom basement refresh.
1. Foundation Leak Repair
Groundwater was entering where the sewer pipe penetrated the wall. To permanently stop the leak, we:
– Identified and sealed the penetration with hydraulic cement.
– Installed a perimeter drain tied to a new sump pump system.
– Applied a waterproofing membrane to meet building-code requirements.
